The inclusion of TBA's Pro-Bloc fire blocking and anti-vandal fabrics in upholstered seating minimises the danger from fire, smoke and toxic fume emissions in the event of a seating fire taking place and allows extra time to escape from the hazard.
Non combustible- The inherently flame resistant fibres used in Pro-Bloc create a barrier to the passage of flame in fire situations.
Low smoke and toxic fume emission-The Pro-Bloc proprietary blend successfully combines the attributes of several fibres to minimise the emmision of harmful combustion by-products.
Anti vandal- Pro-Bloc is available in two styles of slash resistant products that prevent the fire barrier from being breached by knives or other sharp objects. Major underground rail authorities approve the anti-vandal wire used.
On site testing- TBA's on site test centre includes facilities for testing to the requirements of BS6583 (3 metre cube smoke emission test) and BS5852: Part 2 (complete seat flammability) as well as necessary laboratory testing for seat component materials.
Bespoke service / cut parts- Pro-Bloc can be supplied in the form of individually prepared component shapes tailored to the requirements of the fabricator.
